Selvedge Reserve: Matias x Candiani Denim Store

Selvedge Reserve is the name we’ve given to our selvedge fabrics department. We collaborate with different designers to create special capsules exclusively for the Candiani Denim Store. The first selvedge denim capsule, interpreted by Matias Denim, combines his unique aesthetic with Candiani’s heritage and sustainable denim innovation.

Chino Style Zip Front Trousers is part of Candiani’s Selvedge Reserve collection. This classic low-rise chino features a slim, tapered leg.

Fabric: This garment is made with Candiani’s SK6174 K-Navy Pure selvedge fabric, which has a medium weave construction giving this fabric an authentic denim look. The blend of cotton with Tencel™ fibers increases not only the soft hand-feel but also the sustainability aspect of this jean. The K-Navy color is a dark indigo shade, dyed with Candiani’s Indigo Juice® Technology, and sized with Kitotex®, a natural polymer that replaces conventional chemicals and grants a significant reduction of the water and energy used in the process.
